Everything in this building descends from this drawing, including the parts that later outgrew it. Keep its first name in mind as you walk. You will watch it change.
A single architectural plate, drawn as if for framing: the bronze Me field and the moss We field, joined by an axis of transition carrying three states. It exists because a practice this instinctive had never been written down, and a thing that is not written down cannot be taught, protected, or trusted with bigger rooms.
